Steve is a strategically oriented financial and operational professional with extensive experience in driving enterprise value across a variety of industries. Over his career, he has advised companies through high-leverage situations, serving as a consultant, Interim CFO, CEO, CRO. His expertise spans distressed debt and equity situations, mergers & acquisitions, corporate strategy, recapitalizations, business valuation, financial and commercial due diligence, operational efficiency, and deal structuring for leveraged and management buyouts.

After graduating from Bowling Green State University with a triple-major in Accounting, Finance, and Management, Steve spent five years in corporate finance roles before realizing that he could make a greater impact working with middle-market companies. Over the next decade, he advised small and middle-market companies navigating high-stakes situations, helping ownership and leadership teams optimize financial performance and strategic direction.

Driven by the realization that small and lower middle-market companies lack options for transitioning ownership, despite their strong roots, Steve founded EverRoot Holdings to provide small and lower middle-market companies with both strategic guidance and capital solutions. Whether through advisory services or direct investment, EverRoot partners with business owners to structure successful transitions while preserving the company’s foundation for long-term success.

Steve was born and raised in Northeast Ohio and continues to reside there with his wife and two daughters. While not spending time with his family, Steve enjoys golf, hunting, fishing, camping and working around home.
